Universal Access Recreation Programs (MA)

The MA Universal Access Program hosts a free adaptive recreation fair at Artesani Playground/Herter Park in Brighton every June. This fun event allows folks with disabilities and their families and friends to learn about accessible recreation opportunities across the state. The fair has typically run from 10 a.m.–3 p.m., with volunteer orientation starting at 9 a.m. Volunteers help out with the many activities from face painting to adaptive cycling.
