Counseling Program Volunteers

De Novo

De Novo

Mental health professionals from all backgrounds can support De Novo's Counseling Program. Volunteers include psychologists, social workers, professional counselors, licensed therapists and graduate students with many types of experience. The Counseling Program also welcomes volunteer interpreters, especially those who speak Spanish or French, and non-clinical volunteers who provide critical data management and office support.

Counseling volunteers participate by providing ongoing individual and couples therapy, group counseling, training and consultation, and supervision of volunteer therapists not independently licensed. One-time volunteers are not permitted and volunteers must have experience in the field.

Contact Lauren Shebairo, Clinical Director, at (617) 405-5467 or lshebairo@denovo.org to learn more.
