Community-Based Big Sister

Community-Based Big Sisters meet their Little sisters (ages 7-15) for low- or no-cost activities such as dancing, drawing, baking, and science experiments -- or just hanging out together. Community-Based Big and Little Sisters generally meet on the weekends at a location of their choosing. 

Typically, dozens of school-aged girls in Cambridge and Greater Boston are waiting for a Big Sister. Admissions are rolling and Big Sisters of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Volunteers must be 20+, and must commit to a minimum of one year with their Little Sister, visiting once a week for the first three months and then twice a month after that.
