Big for a Day

Big Sister Boston typically has a number of girls waiting to be matched with Big Sisters. Girls who are enrolled in community-based mentoring, but who have not yet been matched with a Big, can participate in a monthly special program with a Big for a Day volunteer. 

Big for a Day volunteers are paired with Little Sisters 1-to-1 for a group activity led by Big Sister Boston staff, typically on a weekend. Big for a Day volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
