About
The Massachusetts Service Alliance is a private organization that expands volunteerism in Massachusetts by supporting both individuals and organizations. As the state commission on volunteerism and service, they create public-private partnerships throughout the state and provide organizations with the funding, training, and support necessary to advance volunteerism across Massachusetts. MSA also sponsers a service internship program (Commonwealth Corps) and offers individual volunteers healthcare/childcare subsidies, living allowances, student loan deferment, and more in return for their service (AmeriCorps).
MSA volunteers work for the organization directly, rather than any of their partners.
