Community Servings prepares and delivers scratch-made, medically tailored meals to individuals and families living with critical or chronic illness and nutrition insecurity. Meals are prepared in a commercial kitchen facility in Jamaica Plain, and deliveries are made in Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Chelsea, and other surrounding towns. The organization also offers nutrition education to help former clients maintain their health, and a food service job-training program for those with barriers to employment.

Kitchen volunteers must be age 13+, and all new volunteers will receive an orientation from our team before the start of their shift.

Volunteer activities have included:

• Prepping or cooking meals on-site

• Delivering meals to those living with illness
