Outdoor Church of Cambridge

The Outdoor Church is a faith-based, ecumenical Christian church created to offer hope and unconditional love to those without a home. Through their weekly worship services held outside Porter Square Station, street outreach and pastoral visiting, distributing food and supplies, and memorial services, members of the Outdoor Church consistently offer diverse support to unhoused residents through rain, snow, sleet, or shine. 

Volunteer activities have included:

• Distributing food and toiletry kits

• Preparing sandwiches or baked goods to distribute

• Hosting a sock drive

• Fundraising/grant writing
