Navigation Games

Navigation Games introduces children and families to the intellectually and physically engaging sport of orienteering at schools and in pubilc parks. Compass-and-map-based outdoor education games create a resilient, creative, and self-reliant yet collaborative generation. In addition to developing these important life skills, the organization promotes public health and a love of the outdoors through fun exercise. Navigation experience is not necessary; training is provided to volunteers.

Volunteer activities have included:

• Teaching in schools/afterschool programs

• Coaching a team

• Designing maps/courses

• Outreach and administrative support
