NAMI Cambridge-Middlesex (National Alliance on Mental Illness MA)

The Cambridge/Middlesex chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) advocates for better treatment, timely services, and a continuum of care for those with mental illness.

Their major activities include family support groups, family education classes, education meetings, support for legislative action on behalf of those with mental illness, and fundraising in support of these activities.

Volunteer activities have included:

• Long-term editorial or administrative work
