Mystic River Watershed Association

The Mystic River Watershed Association (MyRWA) protects and restores the Mystic River and its surroundings to build a vibrant, healthy, and resilient ecosystem for the benefit of all community members. MyRWA works towards this goal by protecting water quality, restoring important habitats, building climate resilience, transforming parks and paths, and inspiring youth and community members of all ages to go outdoors and take action.

Volunteer activities have included:

• Monitoring the water quality or river herring run

• Cleaning up the park/river

• Removing invasive plants

• Participating in the policy committee
