Home Improvement Program of HRI

The Home Improvement Program of HRI helps income-qualifying homeowners maintain their homes well by offering financial and technical assistance. This can take the form of inspections, cost estimates, loan application assistance, counseling on maintenance issues, and other measures to ensure that homes remain safe and rent continues to be affordable. 


Volunteer activities have included:

  • Administrative work and data entry

  • Project management

  • Newsletter and storytelling

  • Communications and social media
