Furnishing Hope

Furnishing Hope provides basic furniture and household goods (including beds, couches, and lamps) as well as “Starter Sets” (basic essentials for the kitchen, bathroom, or bedroom) to families recently transitioning out of homelessness and into stable housing. All furniture is generously donated by local community members, and once a family selects a piece of furniture, Furnishing Hope delivers and helps set it up in their new home.

Volunteer activities have included:

• Sorting/organizing donations

• Putting together starter sets

• Hosting donation drives

• Graphics/web design support

• Social media management
