Friends of Mt. Auburn Cemetery

Friends of Mt. Auburn Cemetery donate their time and talents to the Mt. Auburn Cemetery by contributing to projects that maintain the space and elucidate relevant history. Initiatives range from horticulture and biodiversity to monument preservation, archival work and an artist-in-residence program. 


Volunteer activities have included:

  • Transcribing archives

  • Maintaining the gardens and landscapes

  • Preserving artwork and monuments
