Everett C. Benton Library
The Benton Library is a lending library with over 7,500 catalogued books including a robust selection of best sellers and mysteries, as well as a wonderful, ever-expanding children's and young adult collection. Although cataloguing/restocking is a primary volunteer job, the library finds ways of applying a wide range of volunteer skills for special projects to support all aspects of their operation.
Volunteer activities have included:
Cataloguing books (training provided)
Design and illustration
Computer use and IT support
Assisting library patrons
