Community Cooks

For over 30 years, Community Cooks has coordinated teams of volunteer cooks who create and deliver nutritious, tasty lunches or dinners from their home kitchens to human services agencies throughout Greater Boston. By preparing monthly meals for emergency shelters, after-school programs, and the like, Community Cooks enables these agencies to focus their limited resources on providing other critical services for their participants.

Volunteer activities have included:

• Cooking and delivering meals or one portion of a complete menu

• Managing teams (no cooking!)
