City of Cambridge Center for Families

The Center for Families offers family support in over 13 languages to ensure that Cambridge residents have the opportunities they need for families to grow and thrive. In addition to their various drop-in playgrounds, family events, and referrals to community services, the center offers parent support in the form of discussion groups and parent education workshops.

Volunteer activities have included:

• Labeling newsletters

• Performing a special talent at Family Fun Nights

• Preparing art activities for playgroups

• Acting as a playgroup leader

• Serving on the advisory council
