Cambridge Youth Soccer

Cambridge Youth Soccer offers the opportunity to play soccer (including in in-town and travel leagues) to all Cambridge children ages 4 to 18. Volunteers are critical as Team Managers (no soccer knowledge required), Coaches, or Assistant Coaches (training provided). CYS prioritizes recruiting diverse coaches who relate to the life experiences of all players, and enhance the experience for players of color or other marginalized groups. Volunteer Team Managers are recruited to provide an important communication channel between the players and their coaches.

Volunteer activities have included:

• Coaching teams

• Refereeing games

• Managing teams (communications/organizational role)
