Cambridge Bike Give Back

Inspired by the George Floyd protests in the summer of 2020, Cambridge Bike Give Back supports the community by collecting used bikes, refurbishing them, and giving them to anyone who needs one, from children looking to get exercise to adults seeking affordable transportation. Bikes are warehoused and repaired during lively, music-filled work sessions at CBGB’s space in Cambridgeside Galleria Mall.

Volunteer activities have included:

• Bike repairs/restoration (for skilled volunteers)

• Organizing materials and maintaining the space (repair skills not needed)
