Brighton Hospice

Brighton Hospice's mission is to provide the best physical, emotional, and spiritual care for their patients and patients' families. Training is provided to ensure that volunteers are well-prepared for any activities they may participate in.

Volunteer activities have included:

• Visiting patients where they live (e.g., at home, an assisted living or skilled nursing facility)

• Assisting with projects like letter writing

• Reading, playing games, or watching television with patients

• Assisting with clerical tasks, bereavement programs, or community outreach
